When I first saw pictures online from Boulevard Leopold I knew I needed to stay there when going to Antwerp. I rarely saw a hotel that beautiful and lovingly decorated and those pictures couldn’t even keep up with what I saw when I arrived. Martin, the owner of Boulevard Leopold, warmly welcomed and provided me with the best advices of what to do and where to eat in Antwerp. The Hotel isn’t located right in the center but its just a 15 min walk or a couple of stations by train or bus, which are leaving right next to the hotel, away. The old building is very carefully renovated and the furnishing is extraordinary. Above all that, Martin did everything to make me feel like home. In the morning I’ve been spoiled with a great breakfast. Freshly baked croissants, great bread, eggs if wanted to taste and instead of cold cuts and cheese a plate of assorted cheese and tomatoes was served. It all came with fresh orange juice and coffee or tea. A perfect start for a day in Antwerp. I couldnt have been more happy with my hotel choice in that beautiful city.
